WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We currently accept all major credit cards, cash and check.

MY POWER WENT OUT AND MY SECURITY PANEL IS BEEPING WHAT DO I DO?

Put in your code and press the off button.

MY ALARM WENT OFF WHILE I WASN'T HOME AND EVERYTHING IS FINE HOW DO I RESET MY ALARM?

Enter your code and off (this turns off the alarm) then enter your code again and off (this resets your panel and clears out your fault)

HOW DO I BY PASS A ZONE?

code then #6 and the zone #.  You will need to know what zone before hand which is located on your panel or your contract.

HOW DO I ADD A USER?

Code then #8 then the user number you want to use then a new 4 digit code for the new user.

WHAT MONITORING COMPANY DO YOU USE?

HOW DO I CANCEL MY CONTRACT IF I AM MOVING?

  • To cancel your account it will need to be sent in writing along with your name, account number and you address.  It can be sent directly to us or Security Central.  If there is a balance owed you will be responsible for the balance.

I ACCIDENTIALLY SET MY ALARM OFF BUT THE ALARM COMPANY DID NOT CALL ME, WHY?

  • Typically this is becuase you may have turned it off before the delay went off.  Most alarms have any were to a 30 second to 1 minute delay before the security company calls or police are dispatched.  Many people want the delay in case they run out of the house and forget something and open the door.  We don't recommend have no delay for this reason.  No delay would be typically for when you set you alarm to night mode.

DO I NEED TO DO MONTHLY TESTING?

  • It is not required by us to run a monthly test however, it is highly recommended.  Running security system test can allow you to make sure that your system is running correctly and if there are any issues to call us for a service call.  Service calls for monitored security systems through us are a part of your contract.  You only responsible for items that have been moved, broken or destroyed out of normal wear and tear.  Batteries are not covered due to the disposal requirements we have.

HOW DO I TEST MY SYSTEM?

Here is a quick guide for running a test.  If you have any questions please contact us.

  • Security test should be run at least monthly.  By testing your system you will validate that all signals are being received by Security Central.    Before testing your system make sure that you call Security Central at 800-286-5699 or  800-438-4171 and let them know that you will be running a test on your system for a specified amount of time.   They will note your account and will not dispatch the authorities during your testing period.  It is imperative that you call back and put your system back on line if you have not specified a time frame.  Upon calling back to reset your system you can verify what signals Security Central received.  (i.e.:  front door, windows or other specified contacts)

WHAT ARE THE CONTRACT TERMS?

Monitoring contracts are typically done on a yearly basis and are automatically renewed.  You must cancel the service in writing if you no longer needing to cancel it after your first year.
